Hundreds of Eircom customers throughout West Limerick had their telephone service disrupted last evening as a result of the heavy rainfall in recent days, the company has confirmed.Eircom said the worst affected areas include Newcastlewest and Askeaton.
“Eircom's storm response plan has been in operation since last Saturday with significant extra resourcing deployed to assist our repair teams,” a statement said.
